Our unit is always willing to undertake film, stage, and TV work. We are also available for hire and can provide a variety of living history displays for all age groups and battlefield skirmish activities. We have a number of activities that allow younger members of the audience to participate in some of our display activities. Our unit is fully insured and has its own public liability insurance.

If you would like to hire the 45eme for any such events please contact us as shown on the contact page.

Examples of recent events include: French Festival Horsham; Billingshurst French Market; Hythe Festival; Western Heights, Dover, open days; and Les Miserables Le Panto by Oddsocks Productions.

Along with other units within the Napoleonic Association we do get the regular opportunity to undertake work for film and television. Participants get paid as extras for this work and get the chance to see themselves and the unit on the big and small screen.

Examples of recent film and television work include:

With the large number of bi-centennial celebrations coming up we expect to be in demand over the next few years.

The 45eme Regiment de ligne undertake to participate in all the major Napoleonic Association events at home and abroad. We aim to be represented at all of the major 200th anniversary events across Europe. A full listing of Napoleonic Association events can be found on the NA web site.

Following the success of our trips to Austerlitz in 2005, Jena in 2006, and Wagram in 2009 we are now planning arrangements for us to take part in the major bi-centennial events in 2011 and beyond. Further details will be included as we receive them. A list of the planned events that we will be attending are shown in the table below.

Unit members should refer to the 45eme Newsletter to see the priority levels attached to each event.
